Enuit is pleased to share that in June 2024, a leading Refinery in the USA successfully completed the deployment of ENTRADE CTRM platform for Crude oil and Refined products. Enuit’s ENTRADE now supports the end-to-end Crude oil and Refined products business, which includes both Physical trading and Financial trading instruments across the full transaction life cycle.
Enuit and the client shared the One-team mindset and decided to adopt Enuit’s unique implementation methodology for this project. From Day-1 real transactions and market data are used to ensure the full modelling of client’s businesses, while the supporting reference data and configurations are built in parallel. This defined the end goal of what we want to achieve from the get-go and on a daily basis we can see our progress moving closer and closer to our goal, adhering to the key principle of “What gets measured, gets done”.
With the front to end deal lifecycle in place and using real scenarios, this became very easy for the client team to understand the system flow and relate to their day-to-day operations, thus the inputs provided by the front, mid and back office were meaningful and impactful to the overall implementation. The openness of both Enuit and client teams, the transparency of project progress and the engagement of the key users really shaped the solution to meet and address client’s pain points.
The unique and collaborative approach really accelerated project implementation and delivered the following benefits to the client:
Reducing the amount of rework and reconfiguration during the UAT and Parallel run
Iterative testing and small issues resolution create immediate transparency into any CTRM project implementation.
Stakeholders are well informed
All test results, open issues, and measurable scorecards can then be used to arm the Project Management team and steering committee members to move forward the project from testing to Go-live.
We worked closely with client team to execute the Implementation project with ‘’Parallel run’’ mindset. Running the trades as early as in the implementation strategy from front to back including settlements will provide confidence in delivery and highlight the solution and process gaps as early in the game.
Since go-live of the ENTRADE CTRM trading platform, Client’s trading team can have more detailed breakdown of trading data and metrics, more streamlined IT operations, greater control of business process flows and most importantly seeing the benefits of ENTRADE immediately with their business.
This project has been a success for client and Enuit, able to implement a new industry leading CTRM solution in a short time frame and immediately gaining the benefits digital transformation is a great achievement.
